Mad-Croc Rally Estonia Valga city stage will be replaced with gravel stage

Mad-Croc Rally Estonia organizers announce that originally planned Valga-Valka city stage on Friday, 16th of July, will be replaced with gravel stage in Valga county. However, the citizens of Valga will still be able to see the rally cars after first stage when they pass the Valga civic centre starting at 6.30 PM. The drivers will give interviews there. After that the competitors will go to the second stage.

Urmo Aava, rally director: „It was a very difficult desicion to replace the Valga city stage with gravel stage. The main reason is the security risk. The safeguard of the city stage makes a big part of the whole  budget, therefore we didn´t find the possibilities to arrange it. But we replaced it with a gravel stage and that lengthnes the distance of the whole rally.“

Mad-Croc Rally Estonia is held on South-Estonian roads on 16-18th of July. It is the third round of Estonian Rally Championships and the only Estonian race that is in the FIA calender.
